Sorry for the lack of updates recently...

...Things have been really hectic here at the castle.

Apparently, Dad's advisors have discovered that we're not allowed to have Fenrir out on the field fighting right now. He's currently considered a civilian, as he's neither part of the army or hired to fight this war. We can keep him on the field right now, but only to fufil his original duty: To oversee HOWL's homonculi and make sure things are in working order. He won't be able to fight.

In a way, I'm glad. Less fighting means less of a chance of him getting hurt. In another way... He's still out on the battlefield, and now he can only fight if it's for self-defense, if the other side shoots first.

And, sometimes... One shot is all it takes...

Ah, but I digress. Nobody wants to hear me just sit here and be depressed.

On a completely unrelated note, the investigation squad has been tearing down walls here at the castle, trying to find... Ah, I'm not sure I can talk about it here. But, I'm sure some of you know what I'm talking about.

Good news, bad news.

Hello all, I've finally gotten back home from the trial, and I bring both good news and bad news...

The good news is that I'm not in some elvish jail cell in the middle of nowhere. Their King was personally presiding over my trial, and ended up getting into an argument with Dad. Bad news is, their argument eventually led to the elves declaring war on us...

I'm starting to wonder why I made a blog if all I've been using it for is to relay what's going wrong in my life...

Uh oh...

I just recieved a letter from the elves...

"Princess Silica,

It has come to our attention that you and several other people in the castle, including Fenrir Flameseeker, Dimona Kakana, and Dr. Damien Artolia, have been conspiring with a group calling themselves "The Resistance," and killed several anti-war elvish civilians in the forest north of your castle last night. This will not be tolerated. You are to stand trial in Elvish court tomorrow at 1:00 PM. Do not be late."

And then it gives an address for me to see them.

What's going on? I don't know of any elves that we "killed," much less WHO in the castle is plotting with the resistance!

I'm so confused...

Good luck, Fenrir.

Just saw Fenrir's blog... Let's all wish him good luck.

I love you too, Fenrir. I'll be waiting at the top of the old tower, playing that song for you when you get back.

A more detailed explanation...

Excuse me for the short post last night. It was very late at night, and I was about ready to go to sleep.

We asked the elves if they'd help us defeat the anti-magic army that suddenly appeared in the forest yesterday. They said that they did not want to participate, because taking such an offensive role against them would only further reinforce the anti-magics' idea that magic-users are tyrants.

We're not giving up, though. We're continuing to negotiate with them.

No luck here...

The elves don't want to cooperate.

I haven't posted in quite a while, have I?

Sorry. Things have been very busy around the castle recently.

I tried playing Halo for the first time a while ago. It was very... quick. I don't think my character stayed alive for anything longer than 10 seconds at a time. Fenrir and Dimona apparently were trying to settle a score from earlier that morning, and I just happened to be caught in the crossfire. The fact that all three of us were wearing the same colored armor didn't help either, I think.

I don't know. I've been trying to get into video games lately, so I'm not left out on all the fun Fenrir and Dimona have, but... I'm having problems finding anything other than Rock Band I can ease into.

On a more serious note... Someone graffitied a Winged Guillotine on the South Wall of the castle a few days ago, as well. When the cleanup crew got there... There was a strange circular symbol that wasn't there before, as well. I recognized it as the same symbol we saw inside the downed elvish ship and on the door of the anti-magic base during our vacation to Crecent Moon Isles... What could it mean?
